Texas earns back-to-back WCWS titles

Texas beat Texas Tech 4–1 in Game 2 to sweep the 2026 Women’s College World Series championship series. The Longhorns followed their first national title in 2025 with a second straight championship. Teagan Kavan closed the clincher with five strikeouts in two relief innings.
